Third Behavioral Surveillance Survey (BSS) in Vulnerable Populations in the Dominican Republic: MSM, FSW, Transgender women, Migrants, PLWHA
We are analyzing data and composing the final report of the 3rd Behavior Surveillance Survey (BSS) in Vulnerable and Key Populations (Men who have Sex with Men, Female Sex Workers, Transgender Women, Migrants and People Living with HIV) in the Dominican Republic, supported by Global Fund and Dominican government. The BSS survey approach, developed and promoted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), uses innovative methodologies, such as Respondent Driven Sampling (RDS), in order to relate HIV infections with behavioral indicators, as an evidence-based platform for policy makers at national and international level.
