Induced abortion in the Dominican Republic: A qualitative inquiry
Given the limited previous evidence on voluntary interruption of pregnancies in the Dominican Republic, the findings of this qualitative explorative study, based on interviews with policy makers, health care providers and women with previous experiences of induced abortions, offer a general characterization of this reality, as well as major social determinants of health related to it.
