ANTONIO YAGUARIX DE MOYA

1949 — 2014

Dominican social psychologist, public health researcher, educator, and visionary intellectual whose work profoundly shaped the national response to HIV/AIDS in the Dominican Republic. A pioneer in social epidemiology, sexuality studies, stigma research, and critical social thought, he also contributed to the development of epistemic networks and interdisciplinary scientific dialogue across the region.
