Summary
The USAID.ExE (Engagement by Evidence) project aims to improve the availability of short-term local research data and increase health research capacity in the country for the creation of strategies to address the HIV/AIDS epidemic in migrants of Haitian origin and their descendants, according to the priorities of the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for the Control of the HIV/AIDS Epidemic (PEPFAR) and with the support of the U.S. Agency for International Development.
To accomplish this, the project provides training and hands-on coaching to USAID-funded partners that develops and strengthens their health research capacity through a series of webinars by health professionals, in addition to a Mentorship Program for selected groups that wish to elaborate and implement operational research protocols.
